Relaxation:
Today's world is never ending hustle and bustle. Over packed schedules and overwhelming responsibilities there's little to no time to remember to breathe let alone take time for self care. In the midst of chaos is easy to put one's self care on the back burner. But what happens when that catches up with you? Burning the candles at both ends leads us to so many ailments. Scheduling time for yourself can do wonders for both the brain and body. If you're in need of a mental break with benefits to your physical body as well I highly recommend you book an integrative relaxation massage.
Rehabilitation:
Rehabilitation sessions are designed to retrain the systems together and eliminate pain and dysfunctions. In these sessions you will remain clothed in sports attire and Typically these sessions have alot of eduction involved and followed up with homework. These sessions tend to have a slightly heavier hand and more targeted approach. One might say deep tissue but these terms fail to uphold the true nature of the work.
Many of these sessions are to help replace long term dysfunctions in the body. Things that may have developed from a long ago injury, surgery or poor lifestyle habits. I expect my clients to follow through on their end with the necessary lifestyle changes and/or homework to help aid their healing process. It is not my job to heal you, no one has that ability. However, I can support you in every way possible to help you heal yourself. Although I try to obtain results with empathy and understanding that change is difficult for most people, I am not afraid to give some tough love when it is necessary.
My job is to aid your body’s natural healing response. My goal is not to just provide the assistance for you to heal, but the knowledge for you to “self-help” in the future and potentially prevent any further dysfunctions, pain, or imbalances.
